YLE data acquisition systems are established in academic and industrial research applications. Features include reliability, user-friendliness, flexibility, accuracy and powerful software modules tailored to specific client testing. Stability of YLE DAQ systems measurement is reflected in their utilization for long term industrial tests extending over one year.

Incorporating the latest development in data acquisition electronics hardware to provide a state of the art system:

    • Accuracy class: up to 0.01%
    • Sampling rate per channel: 50 KS/s
    • Digital Resolution: 24 bits

YLE DAQ systems are used in seismic testing, structural testing, soil testing, and a variety of industrial testing and research applications.

YLE DAQ systems offer a "complete solution" namely data acquisition hardware, necessary accessories and software modules tailored to specific client testing and research applications.

YLE DAQ systems usually consist of two sets of channels:

  • Strain Channels: Transducer input: ±25 mV

For strain gauge based sensors, such as strain gauges, load cells, pressure sensors, etc. Quarter, half and full bridge configurations are possible.

  • Voltage Channels: Transducer input: ± 10 V.

For sensors such as LVDT's, pressure transmitters, temperature, etc. Strain channels have software selectable excitation from 2.5 to 10VDC, enabling optimal testing conditions, and flexibility in transducer selection. Simultaneous tests may be performed, with each test monitoring a specific set of transducer channels. Test reports can be customized to user's preferences.

A modular construction is adopted, allowing user specified number of channels to be provided. The base system has 16 strain and 16 voltage channels. Modules may be daisy chained to increase number of data acquisition channels up to 1000.

Test results are exportable to Excel for analysis and reporting, and test reports can be customized to user's preferences.
